The church where I attend hired an electrician to do the electrical for a daycare that they are building. As a apprentice electrcian myself I talked with the guy about how he was doing some of his work Im currently going to school and after talking with this guy Im total confussed on load calulations can someone please explain in detail.
1. 4000 sqft
2. 120/240 Three Phase
3. (50) 120v light fixtures @ 1.3a ea
4. (50) plugs
5. dual element water 4500kw ea 240 single phase
6. (2) 7 1/2 ton a/c units comp RLA @ 240 = 17a (motor 5hp)
min. circuit ampacity =24
circuit breaker min.= 30 max=40
7 (2) Heat 14.4kw @ 240 three phase
circuit amps 34.6
there is going to be no kictchen because there is the church with a kitchen next door I guess they will bring food over
