Hello to all. I am sitting for my electrical contractors license in Ohio next month. I originally took my business and law exam 6 weeks ago. At that time, PSI was the testing center for Ohio. The state has now switched to PROV. I was able to take my TI30XIIS silent non programmable calculator to the exam. But PROV states that only a simple 4 function calculator is allowed with them. Can anyone verify if they have been able to use a silent non programmable calculator for the electrical exam, such as the one above? (Texas instruments) They have started testing with the 2014 NEC. I,m just curious if anyone has any knowledge of this through their own experience in Ohio. It,s not that big of a deal. I am just comfortable using this calculator. Thanks.
