That would be very expensive to import power to the mainland. I believe it’s what? 10 miles out is the out of site range? Why go 200?

The forum location isn't really an issue but I see no purpose for this thread because you haven't stated how it's relevant to anything. Seems more like you dropped an advertisement to something. If you can some context as to why you posted it that would be helpful.

Is there a purpose to this thread or an actual question?
The speaker is from California and the the California Energy Commission relates to wind turbines. The speaker disputes the efficacy of wind turbines and instead waxes lyrical on the merits of Nuclear Power. Incorrectly in my opinion.

Anyway, if Mr Moderator wants to change the topic I have not problem with that.
 
Great to save the environment we are going to have floating windmil farms the size of small cities with blades the size of 747s that get thrown into landfills.
