The building is 60 years old in the industrial part of town.
It has had many tenants.
This is the second tenant we worked for at the location.

The last one brought in a piece of equipment that was 208y/120.
The building has 120/240 Open Delta and the space only had single phase.

Every time I go to this place I find something off the wall.
 
This kind of work happens everywhere. Once they power turned on they just do what ever they want and never pull permits. I have seen major store buildouts that there is no question that they never had a permit or if they did the inspector signed it off without looking.
Look on the bright side, you will get many more service calls at this place. Gotta love that green wire.

Yep. Look on the bright, who wants to see the same old code violations day in and day out. These guys got creative.:roll:

My biggest fear in a place like that though, would be to have a senior moment while opening a j-box, and assuming the green was ground.......:mad:
