Can a speaker be located within 10 feet of a hot tub?

A speaker is not an outlet. Unless the speaker is installed underwater the NEC is silent on them. Unless the speaker is line powered (has a wall wart or line cord) it's a low voltage device. See Art 680 but I don't think you will see anything that I didn't.
