ances and refrigerators? I was taught pre license that all motors over a certain size in residential need a dedicated circuit. I reviewed 210 this am pursuant to kitchen branch circuit regs but am super crunched for time and need to figure out without a lot of spurious detail on my part, if my client's old kitchen circuiting with a G Disposal not on a separate circuit will get dinged during inspection. I have to move a subpanel and ground it and my understanding is that all circuiting of subpanel must meet current NEC. Thx so so much.

depends on the HP of the GD. sharing a circuit with other loads it can only be 50% of the BC rating. By itself can be 80%

Tom, are you referring to 210.23(A)(2)? If the OP is talking about sharing a circuit for the GD and DW, I don't think that would apply, since both appliances would be considered fastened in place. There are certainly other reasons to run individual circuits for each (manufacturer's instructions). Am I missing something on the 50% rule?
