Can DC conductors equipped with Rapid Shutdown be run in PVC?

It would make sense that the DC off the roof can now be run in PVC when the system has rapid shutdown.

Is this correct?

thanks
No, because Rapid Shutdown does not provide any protection at all against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. And ground fault protection in most inverters cannot clear a ground fault, nor does it trigger rapid shutdown.

DC PV conductors could already be run in PVC given the right conditions, but those often don't apply. I agree with Goldigger that Rapid Shutdown does not change the code requirements for when you can and can't use PVC.
