I have a dedicated 20A dining room receptacles circuit and on the other side of a dining room wall is the range hood fan, can I tail out of a dining room receptacle share with a range hood fan? The kitchen already has three other 20A small appliance branch circuits that only service the countertops and island I know the range hood fan cant be on one of those..
I recall 210 lumps in the dining room with these but the owner did not want that, so I have a 4th 20A circuit to the dining room receptacles.
I prefer not to put the fan on a 15A lighting circuit as its not near that wall and it may be a large fan.
I am seeking opinions from the code gurus here
thank you Mike and everyone.

Is it cord and plug connected? If so range hoods require their own circuit so no it cannot be on a SABC. {422.16(B)(4)(3)}
