Can jet line cause a ground fault if it comes in contact with live terminals and ground? Taking the environment into consideration it is located where there is steam, humidity, and dust present inside industrial kitchen. The live terminals would be a splice inside IMC condulets the jet line was making contact with inside wire nuts and condulet.

Yes , of course . Even a Moth or an Ant can cause a ground fault.

IMHO...Its not the Jet line that causes the ground fault. It is the contaminants on the jetline that provide a path for electricity to ground. 🙂
