Can light dilemna

OK, so I think I screwed up. I installed some 3" Halo LV cans for a client so that he could highlight some art on various walls. I installed the cans 30" from the wall ( which is standard around here ). Due to the framing of the ceiling and the aesthetics of light placement, however, the lights did not end up on the center of the art pieces. Therefore, the light is hitting too low on the art piece due to the added distance of the angle ( I went from 30" to approximately 44").
The best Halo trim allows up to 35 degrees of play....and this is now not enough. I need somewhere around 60 degrees. The client is not happy....I am not happy. Apparently, Elko makes trims with much more flexibility, but their trims do not fit into the Halo cans ( surprise ). Short of changing/moving the cans, does anyone know of a trim that would fit or another clever solution. Thanks in advance.

can you use a lense that will change your beam spread. I have used a lense that will elongate the spread of the beam these are installed in front of the MR16 and go in 90 degrees from what you want your spread to be

elko trims interchange, but apparently only on the larger cans. :-(

you don't say what your ceiling height is, but...... honestly, there's nothing
that'll take you where you want to go, the geometry of a flush can light isn't
gonna work that far out....

there are solutions.....

try bruck lighting.... and there are cheaper knockoffs available as well.
bruck is 'spensive. the stuff is gorgeous, however.

I did a quick search and posted a link to what may help your search. Look in the NEC forum, in a thread that starts with "spotlight/tracklight trim ..."

funny how electricians are supposed to engineer this type of thing, as if we are schooled in the ever-changing sea of lighting trims. tsome folks also like me to do their engineering for lumens. It's not my yob. I tell them its a crap shoot if I do it, so if that isn't good enough get a pro LD.
