What's everybody using for can trims and bulbs? I have been using the halo led retrofit kits because I could get them the same price as buying a trim and a led bulb. I'm just not happy with them. I use the 2700k and am not happy with the light output. I'm also not happy with the size of the trim. If the can light is not cut out perfect the trim doesn't cover everything. I've tried the CREE ones but don't like the price and the mounting of the can into the trim. Thinking about just going back to buying trims and bulbs separate. What's everyone else doing?

We use the halo LED at times but never had an issue with them. They cover fine. We mostly use the 30 wat trim from Halo with Phillips LED bulbs
Right now I get the halo led retrofit kits for 20 bucks a piece so that's why I like to use them. But like I said not a fan of the light output. I'm thinking maybe to cut costs they decided to start making them a little smaller. Something has definently changed with them
