All the more reason to use controlled FETs or other similar more sophisticated devices to build really critical bridges.
oh, can we discuss nFet or pFet on this site, i think that will be over the top.

Don't forget IGFET and IG bipolar.
Jraef manages to talk about them successfully in the context of VFDs, etc., but that is a very specific audience.

pick the types of fet and zener wisely

pretty dumb to take this out of the other thread, because nobody has any clue now as to why we are even talking about FET based rectifier. :rant:


@ MOD's - please learn how to MOD, otherwise let someone else MOD. what you are doing is creating dis-jointed bloat, which can just be deleted !
