Can we use 40A backfeed breaker with Powerwall3?

In Tesla Powerwall3 if we do the PCS @31.7A than can we use 40A backfeed breaker in MSP to stay within 120% rule for PG&E in San Francisco?

I would think yes. SF DBI may or may not still educating on PCS, but I'd be they're familiar with it by now. It's been in the code for nearly two years.

PG&E is pretty irrelevant to this.

You can install 60A breker as well Provided that the Powerwall 3 is configured for panel limit Feature. Tesla site cts are installed to monitor the service conductors and 160A is kept as PCS panel limit setting. That means at the instant when the grid plus inveretr current exceeds 160A then powerwall will cut off the inverter production to stay within the limit of 160A.
