Can't find old fashioned recessed lights...

guys,

I have a finished basement, with 2 lights. One doesn't even have a junction box, or metal surround, and in order to make it match, I need a 12x12" light that will mount flush-- flat to the tile ceiling. the only ones I can find mount 2 inches below the surface, but I need one to mount flat-- the same level as the tiles. I have checked Ebay, lighting stores, and several home improvement stores, and websites, and have come up with nothing. I found them in 9x9" but not 12x12. Anyone who knows where to get one would help me out greatly.

Thanks

I know exactly the one's you mean. The one's I'm famaliar with were made by "Edison Lighting" (no kidding around, that was the company name). I think they were bought out by Cooper, and rolled into the Juno line. Don't know if they still have a 12x12 square recess that doesn't have a drop diffuser or not. Square recess are so 60's anyhow. If you can't find them, you'll have no choice but to remodel that basement. :)

As of a few years ago, I still saw fixtures under the edison name. The ones I saw were the cheapest lousiest cans I've seen. I don't think they had any association w/ juno, but I could be wrong.
