any good places to purchase cap for empty breaker slot for service panel. can(CODE WISE) you change (cut down) to fit smaller slot?

call your local electrical supply house to find out if they carry the manufacturer's of your panel's products--if not they usually know which supply house represents you manufacturer. they should have the breaker blanks full and twin sizes............................

I hope you aren't dealing with an old "bulldog" pushmatic panel. I've looked high and low, and no one seems to carry blanks for those. I can still get breakers for them at one supply house, but even the vintage shops don't have pushmatic blanks.

408.7 Unused Openings. Unused openings for circuit breakers and switches shall be closed using identified closures, or other approved means that provide protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the enclosure.
If this isn't getting inspected, then there is no way to get something that isn't identified as a closure approved; you should try to find the identified closure.

But I don't think you're going to be crucified if you fashion something together substantially equivalent to the wall of the panel. :)

I've got several of those lying around the shop .... should I list them on eBay for you?

I did not find a blank from a local electrical store, So I just pop out a slot from a new panel and glued on back of the old one It look really good ( look like it was never been pop out) passed inspection.!!!!
