Capacitor failure.

Core and coil ballasts get pretty hot... do capacitors fail easily if too close to the transformer core? The fluid that leaks from a capacitor has no PCB's? Thanks again!

The way some light fixtures are designed I don't see how you can keep the cap away from the ballast.
I don't think there are PCB's in anything anymore.
