How are capacitors grounded to comply w/ 460.10?
I looked in 250 but could not find anything.
What size conductor?
Connect to GEC system?
Connect to EGC of circuit?

The plans call for a "#4 bond to chamber"

EDIT: I meant to post this in Grounding

EDIT2: This is being used on a 400Hz system on the secondary side of a 208V to 208Y120; 25kVA XFMR. The primary of the XFMR connects to a 25kVA frequency convertor.

Re: Capacitors

many capacitors that might be used in such a setting are metal cased. I would think that the bolts holding them to their metal mounting plate would make a very effective bond if one were to connect a green wire from the mounting plate to the the incoming egc.

i think capacitors for pf correction might actually have a ground terminal on them if memory serves me correctly.
