Capri CRL6K led retrofit kit problem

In a retirement village of 48 units we installed about 1600 of these. They were chosen to comply with LEED. Problem we're having is that they keep going out. When you pull one down and check the retrofit socket it comes on usually when you loosen it a bit. Jobs been done a year now and we are just cutting out the sockets completely and using wire nuts. After you do that they're fine. I'm baffled. Seems like the sockets heat up and get loose but it's not a large draw or anything. They're LED's. Anyone else have this problem?

Cannot say I have had seen that but what you describe sounds like a poor connection getting hot from high resistance and failing.
