Hi,
This time a different job and different question.
I am working at Popeyes in nyc. In kitchen we have ansul fire suppression system and captiveaire control box.
I did everything. I connected exhaust, make up and fire system with captiveaire control box.
I also connected all the equipment under the hood with contactors. My only question is
How should I connect contractor with captiveaire so in case of emergency all equipment power is turned off.
right now in case of emergency exhaust stays on and make up air turns off. I have an idea how to do it. I don’t want to take chances and messed up a job. I shall really appreciate all the help from you guys.
thank you

You need to supply the contactors from a point that is always hot except when the system trips.

I would look on the control box's schematic and find an unused relay contact set.

Or, the hot side of a switch (hood lights or make-up air) of something that loses power.

Read the first line in my previous post again.

I'd be happy to PM you my phone number in case you need to call me from the jobsite.

I glossed over that as a complaint.

Presuming same requirements everywhere, here's what should happen upon a system trip:

Exhaust fan should turn on or stay on.
Make-up fan should turn off or stay off.
Hood lights should turn off (in some places)
All electric power under hood should turn off.

Gas (if any) must turn off (elect. or mech. valve)
Gas control on only if exhaust is on, unless:
T-stat (and 10-min timer) control if mech. valve.
