I misunderstood the question. You are asking if there is a specific section for this. I thought you were asking if it would fall under NEC requirements in general.
 
How can a car wash detail station be considered a hazardous location, it’s a car wash? Car wash detail stations do not use paint, just cleaning products, elbow grease, and TLC for car

Key word “Cleaning products” they may or may not use flammable products, and it may or not be in an enclosed room. We don’t have enough information to determine what type of operation it is.

If cleaning products equals haz-loc then the whole continent is about to get turned on its ear.

Not talking about regular household cleaning chemicals, some detailers use the same chemicals the body shops do to restore the finish or remove contaminants on the paint. This has not been clarified by the op.
