Carflex cable through drop ceiling

I am a little confused about drop ceilings. I have a ceilng mounted motorized display screen which I had planned to run carflex cable from the screen through the ceiling and to a Jbox above the ceiling. Is this allowed and can someone refer me to the code?

Welcome to the Forum. I'm guessing your asking about LFNC. Did you read 356.10 and .12? If so could you be more specific about your confusion?

Let me help out some of our other readers.
Carlex Cable is not a actual product.
Carlex is a common name for LTNM conduit, its a chapter 3 wiring method.
Cable is typically 2 or more conductors in insulation. Cable may or may not be a chapter 3 wiring method.
What is not a chapter 3 wiring method is portable cord, such as SO, or SJO. This type of cable is never allowed above a ceiling or concealed in walls. See 400.7 and 400.8
The code requires a suitable wiring method, I call it a chapter 3 wiring method.

Don't you mean LFNC? Also, I have never heard of Carflex "CABLE" as well
