Hey guys trying to find carflex in the codes. I know its in the 300s along with nm cable, ent, etc. What is the code name for carflex? And do they make couplings for carflex?

Carlon does not seem to show a Craflex coupling in their catalog.

Who told you that? Either way it's wrong as DCinspector said.

would never use (except maybe for hdpe), but like I said, they do exist

Nakulak thanks for the link. That is the item we used to couple the carflex together. Heres what happened wiring a generator with remote anunciator? We had to flex from transfer switch down the outside wall into house. We had scrap 1/2 carflex as we didnt expect to have to do this. They came with the couplings for whatever reason. So we took the scrap flex and coupled the pieces together. Not the prettiest thing ive ever seen but code compliant.

To me it would not be ul listed for such a purpose and thus a violation of some article in the code book. Dont make me look it up

Well we use carflex in a corrosive or a static area like a pepsi plant or chemicals or acids , when we stub up out of the slab or ground its a standard pvc coupling your old pvc coupling ? comments best to yas
