Does CAT 5 or CAT 6 cables follow the same conduit fill requirements that current carring conductors follow? (Percent area of conduits)

1 wire = 53%
2 wires = 31%
2+ wires = 40%

The conduit fill tables say nothing about line or low voltage. It does apply. It just says conductors or multiconductor cables.

Interestingly, if this is an article 800 wiring method, the tables do not apply.

800.110 Raceways for Communications Wires and Cables.
Where communications wires and cables are installed in a raceway, the raceway shall be either of a type permitted in Chapter 3 and installed in accordance with Chapter 3 or listed plenum communications raceway, listed riser communications raceway, or listed general-purpose communications raceway installed in accordance with 800.154 and installed in accordance with 362.24 through 362.56, where the requirements applicable to electrical nonmetallic tubing apply. The raceway fill tables of Chapter 3 and Chapter 9 shall not apply.

The physics of grouping signal cables vs. the physics of grouping power cables are very different, assuming you want adequate performance and reasonable insulation lifetime in both cases.

I'm so conditioned to article 760 requirements
