What code article talks about cat 6 cable communication cable physical protection any height requirement?

I read it all does not say any height requirements off the floor for physical protection. Am I right ? Also informational notes are not code enforceable right ?

You are correct in that informational notes are not code enforceable.

TDMM ( telecommunication distribution and Method manuals) has all of the information on com cable that you could ever want, and more. each of the two volumes is roughly twice the size of the 2014 NEC.

As far as I know, there are no height requirements. Protecting the cable is more for aestheics, your sake, and the owners of the building, to not have to make costly repairs if the cable is damaged.
