Cathodic Protection voltage

I have an CP underground pipe which comes up (above grade) and goes back underground. Although CP voltages are very low, are there restrictions on maximums, regarding CP voltages seen on above ground? Ideally we dont want any, but just wondering if there is maximum?

I was wondering if I need to place insulating gaskets at the inlet/outlet to protect the "small" section of that pipe.

IMHO... I have never seen any documentation on CP... but I would guess that voltages would be limited to below 50 volts due to OSHA requirements.

Been a long time since I worked with them but Impressed-Current Cathodic Protection systems on pipelines use 2 volts as I recall which is not enough to be of any hazard.
