CCTV on Parking Lot Light Pole

Need practical advice from an electrician.

If you were asked to add CCTV cameras on a 20ft metal parking lot lighting pole mounted on a round concrete base, concealing all wiring possible, would you:

Run the video cable inside flex inside the pole?
Run the power to the lighting in MC cable inside the pole?
Tell the owner it isn't possible to hide the video cable.

If this is new construction, thats easy to allow for two conduits into the base of the pole. Existing, again not too hard inside the pole with NM or LTNMC, but how to get out of the pole to a j-box?

It's existing construction, but either way, getting OUT of the pole is indeed part of the problem. Especially when drilling into a pole generally voids the warranty.

Realistically does voiding the warranty mean anything?

Does the pole manufacturer have a solution? You might want to contact them.

I have run into this situation alot before. We were asked to "hide" the conduit, on a large project that had many cctv camers's up on light poles. No way. Rigid grc out of the ground, up the pole strapped with stainless banding. WP j-box and ltfmc from the j-box to the equipment. The conduit can be painted to match the pole and just as soon as that is done the eyesore is pretty much gone. I have also had homeowners that didn't want a ct can and large disconnects mounted on their brand new mansion that was getting a 400 amp or 600 amp service, but those got installed anyway.
