Ceiling drops for factory equipment

Can someone knowledgable in commercial applications tell me if 110vac SJO supply cords are allowed and what specs are required for 20 amp application?

Yes they are allowed and your electrician should know how to install.At one factory we service there are hundreds if not a thousand.
