I was worried about failing final inspection so I took a fan back down before totally installing. I saw to dimensions on box didn't match from ceiling to blades gain as the blades went out from center of fan making it less than 7' from floor 2" at least. I had a unhappy costumer and now will go the lighting supply instead of big box stores Friday. the screened in porch is 91.5" from floor can't seem to find hugger fan outdoor rated. I wonder if I should have risked the 2 inches that would have been a fan with blades less then 7' from floor the building inspector might have called that also or not. am I being to worried over 2 inches? that might have been the best fan with the most distance from the floor. Happy July 4th thanks form the input.

I think your building inspector would be looking for 6'8" aff.
