Ceiling fan installation

Hello, When our house was built the electrician wired the living room for a ceiling fan. They have two switches one for the fan and one for the light. The box in the ceiling has green, white, black, and a red wire. My ceiling fan has a built in led light kit but only had a white, black, and green wire. My question is where does the red wire go that is in the ceiling box? Do I connect it with the black wires?

I would suggest you have the electrician come and install your fan.
