On high speed a typical ceiling paddle fan motor draws less than a 100Watt Light Bulb. 100/120=.83 Amps.

most of the fans i've installed, as i recall, are about 70w on high and 13w on low. its not much at all. this is for spec grade fans, not a heavyweight.

Just watch out fot the ones with a heater in them. You need a separate circuit. This fan is made by Reiker
