What does it mean to "white out ceiling". Paint?
Referring to schedule where the last task is to "white out the ceiling".

It means that the carpenter is going to install all of the ceiling tiles in the grid. Some jobs they start with only doing the perimeter cuts and cuts for sprinkler heads etc. The white out is when they finish installing all of the tiles so if you need to do work above the ceiling you had better hurry.
