Cell tower cable running up have equipment grounding conductor

I have monopole cell tower. The tower has DC conductor cables that run from equipment on ground to cell tower antennas, RRUs, etc up top. Kind of like this:

Does anyone here know do those DC conductor cables that run up to tower to antennas, RRUs etc have equipment grounding conductor? or does code require equipment grounding conductor or not?

I think it’s the new 5g that has power up there, other than that I think it’s all wave guides.

This whitepaper mentions that the DC cables are shielded but makes no mention of another grounding conductor within the cable. At the bottom of page 4 they show a grounding conductor going from the ground bar in the base station to the tower and mast.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like the equipment is only about 20’-30’ up. Hadn’t done any cell tower work in years, but I remember their techs talking about it.
