lighting circuit with 2 hour fire resistance installation for emergency lighting when using central lighting inverter (None of lighting fixtures has integral battery backup)

I know that Europe standard (UK, Germany maybe other countries) requires to use 2 hours fire resistance cabling as well listed supports for 2 hours for installation downstream of central lighting inverter. This requirement does make sense for me, when you have 40KVA central lighting inverter in basement and run hundreds of feet cabling to other floors through fire rated walls/zones. THIS IS ONLY WAY TO KEEP CIRCUIT INTEGRITY IF THERE IS A FIRE ON SOME SECTION OF CABLING.

I can't find requirement (I checked NEC and building code) for 2 hour fire resistance installation for lighting circuits. (I see a fire resistance installation only for fire pump, generator etc.).

Did I missed something? please help

There is the general/loose requirement in 700.10(C) and in larger buildings 700.10(D). As for the central inverter itself I would look to NFPA 111 for location and protection requirements.
