Could any one give me an idea how to get a certificate as electrical inspector
IAEI/CEI.Do Public works require Special certification?????

It depends on where you are and the requirements of the jurisdiction in which you will be inspecting. Third party inspectors in Maryland need to be certified by the State Fire Marshall's Office. Inspectors that are employed directly by the jurisdictions do not need to meet any state requirements so the requirements vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Some require a Master's License, some have very few requirements.
