Certified lighting designer
I am a consulting engineer, owners / agencies have been increasingly asking for a certified lighting designer on larger projects. Typically the lighting drawings are stamped by the Electrical Engineer, in these cases the lighting designer has laid out the lighting (no liability) and no-construction administration after. Leaving us holding the bag with no fee to review thing fixtures that we did not even specify.
Looking in to this I would like to take the exam offered by NCQLP for certified lighting designer. Does anyone have any study guides or sample of the test?

Be sure to check the requirements for maintaining the certification.

It looks like you either have to retest every 3 years, or take a lot of continuing education hours.
