CFL for Incandescent ?

Can a CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) be used in a hazardous rated incandescent fixture?

My "gut feeling" is it should be but without it being a tested combination (the fixture manufacturer could tell you) it would be problematic.

Can a CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) be used in a hazardous rated incandescent fixture?

In my experience self ballasted CFL's just don't like to be even in ordinary enclosed fixtures. It just gets too warm in there for the electronic ballast.
