Hi, any chance I can get some advice for changing a 1 gang metal box to a 2 gang box? Ive installed a bathroom fan, and run the wire, but I dont want to wire the fan to the light switch, I want it on its own switch.

Do I need to change the old 1 gang out for a plastic old work 2 gang box? I can't find much in stock for these, Home Depot or Lowes doesn't have them.

Do they need a bonding strip, or can I just twist up the grounds?

Seems to be a lack of documentation on this topic and specific to Canada online.

Thanks!
