Change of temperature on a roof Massachusetts

Steel EMT ran on sleepers across a rubber roof. calculating change of temperature in Massachusetts?

looking at .31 inch in 100 feet with a 40° Fahrenheit change of temperature. Question is what amount would you use as worse case

I would use at least 100F change, but I don't worry about expansion with metal conduit.

Unless your going over an expansion joint on a roof with EMT or Rigid conduit i would not worry about expansion.
