Charging sizzor lifts on 20 amp circuit

Anybody know how many lifts you can plug in on one dedicated 20 amp branch circuit without popping the breaker.

It is not possible to answer this question without you telling us the current draw of each charger. We need voltage and wattage, or just the amperage of each charger.

By the sounds of it, not enough.

For smaller lifts, you might get 3-4 if they don't all start charging at once (30A peak charge @ 24V is common).

If you do not know the rate at which the scissor lifts recharge, then you will probably find out by plugging in too many and tripping the breaker.

That does seem to be the usual method . And is often retested weekly.

Change the breaker to 50 amp, problem likely solved.

If it does trip that, you have too many.



Seriously depending on conditions and how the charger operates, you likely will hold more of them if they only need to "top off" the battery vs. if they are fully discharged.
