I'm sure I'm not the only one. I usually check materials as they come over the counter, being sure of brands, colors, the usual stuff. It never fails that I let my guard down a time or 2 and problems resurface. I bought 15 and 20 amp tamperproof receptacles & GFI's 1st day of a job. Installed about a week later. Installed 8 or so and then saw that my GFI's were TP and the standard rec's were not. Easy mistake. I should have been checking. Much easier to correct before leaving the store and would have saved a lot of time and headaches on the job. I should have noticed 1st device wasn't TP also. But I didn't see it and kept thinking something wasn't right, then saw it on all of them.
