Checking in/journeyman question

Hey everyone I am new to the forum, and I thought I would say hello! I was also wondering if anyone knew about getting certified in other states, other than your current state. I am currently in Michigan, but after my apprenticeship is over, and I test for journeyman my wife and I want to move out of state. Let me know! Thanks for looking!

Some states reciprocate some don't. Licensing and how its done is up to the state/city. Mike Holt has information on this at his web site. Better yet when you determine where you want to go, post that question and we have many persons in each area that can help.

Michigan has no reciprocity agreements with other states so you will have to go to a state that requires no electrical license or start you apprenticeship over in a state that requires an electrical license [h=5][/h]good luck
