I WAS CALLED BY A HOMEOWNER WHO INSTALLED A SWIMMING POOL WITHOUT AN INSPECTION AND NOW HAS TO PROVE THE HANDRAILS ARE GROUNDED BY PROVIDING AN OHM READING TO THE INSPECTOR. MY QUESTION IS HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. THANK YOU

Chip out enough finish material to get access to the rebar. Use a continuity indicator to confirm a bond. Use long wires for test leads.

Get the inspector to supply definite point to point testing requirements.

Does the inspector plan to witness the test? If not, take photographs of the results and procedure used.
