Chicago bender

Does anyone know how to find the equivalent of the star from a hand bender, for a Chicago bender? Asking for multiple back to back 90s in a single piece without having to cut and thread.

"The star foretells where the back of the bend will lie" is the saying that goes with Benfield benders. It should be simple enough to do a test bend and determine where that point is on the bender, then with a file notch the bender and perhaps mark it with a sharpie.

I never used a mark on the shoe. Just a test bend for a new bender to determine all of the numbers needed for a bend. stub-up....shrink....back of bend, or whatever else is helpful, like offset multipliers based on the number of clicks and not on degrees of bend, and marked them on the bender.
