In Chicago, it has been my previuos experience to wire modular furniture with a superflex type conduit for the high voltage wiring. The current job we are on has modular furniture with raceways for wirng and communications (no seperation). The general on the job is requiring verification that the high voltage needs to be installed in a conduit. Does anyone know of the Chicago Electrical Code that states the requirement for modular furniture wiring?
