Is Chico compound only to be used in a conduit seal, or can it also be used to seal an STX Teck connector?

Theoretically, it depends on where you are. TECK is not a recognized cable construction it the US - although it is a fine cable IMO. TECK is a Canadian Type.

However, in general rules, both Canadian and US, Chico would only be acceptable if it is specifically listed for the seal fitting it is used with. Some brands are interchangable, but that has to be confirmed by the listing agency.

I was wondering what TECK is.
Thanks

Basically it is interlocked armor Type MC with a mandatory plastic sheath under the armor. It has been accepted in Canadian Division I for longer than I can remember. Since Canada now mandates Zone classification, rather than Division, it is definitely suitable for Zone 1.
