I have a customer who has a china cabinet that is from Euorpe. The plug is the standard 220V plug (2 round blades). She had an adapter that changed the plug type.
The cord switch is now broken and she would like fixed.
I should just be able to replace the cord with a regular lamp cord with switch installed on it with a normal USA plug. That way she does not need the adapter (it is loose and falls out sometimes).
If I remember my Europe voltage right, it uses 1 leg at 220V and the other is neutral. These are only lamp bases in the cabinet. No electronics. She uses regular lightbulbs in th bases.
Any issues I am missing?
