Hi all,
I found only 3 posts in the forums about CHSP but none addresses the problem I have.

It is a Eaton CHSPT2ULTRA.
Eaton is saying that I can use a 15A but in order to get the full ratting I need to use a 50A breaker (instructions page 2) with this CHSP.
All good except that the CHSP comes with stranded 12awg wires. They are probably Ok as they have to be no longer than 12".
The issue is that 12awg is too small for a 50A breaker, at least for my Siemens QP #Q250U, that requires at least 8awg. The screw is not even reaching the CHSP wire when fully in.
The panel is 10k rated.

I could install a 30A #Q230U breaker that will hold down to 14 wire, but then I'll not get the CHSP full rating.

Solutions?

Thanks a lot!

This seems like a DIY post ( the tell is a hello, hi and thank you) which we don’t allow.
And I don’t know what a CHSP is
You’ll need to repost with your occupation filled in and what a CHSP is.
