Anyone use a handle lock to lock the breaker in the on position on a tandem breaker?
Do they work on a 240V tandem?
I’m wondering if the universal ones from Garvin will work or what the experts here do in this situation..

So...
no one has ever used breaker locks to lock a breaker on?
With a tandem?
This is for a small sprinkler system and it has to be locked on

Got talked into running a dedicated circuit for this.

Sorry to be so late but I have on a sprinkler system circuit and whether it was correct or not it worked as it should, it stopped any accidental or deliberate disconnecting of the circuit but allowed tripping.

I can’t seem to find one for a tandem breaker. I may have to move things around and put tandem DP breakers in to make room..

I wasn't real clear in my earlier post but the reason I said I didn't know if it was correct or not is because I used a singled pole lock on a tandem breaker, it worked fine.

I have to admit, I didn’t think that far...😳
I can do some moving of circuits in the panel and make that work for the DP tandem!
Thanks!
