Is it a requirement to have to have the circuit # and panel ID located on the front of a faceplate in an assisted living facility?

Faceplates in question are NOT part of the emergency system.

If so, please list the applicable article requiring this.

I realize that it would be a good practice to do so, but is it required.

Thanks.

You may want to verify that it is not a state licensure requirement.

One thing I don't like about marking faceplates is if they are all removed for painting or some other similar reason what assurance is there they get put back where they came from? Not having them marked at all I think would be better then being marked wrong.
