Circuit (s) to attached garage?

I would think power circuits to the inside of a attached garage, would probably be best to run two

Figure one for convenience recepts and one for opener.

However if I did decided to run one circuit for both , would 210.23 2 be my article point of reference ?

Code wise yes 210.23(A)(2) needs consideration. Reality is this will seldom cause any problem, a door opener only operates for maybe 15 -20 seconds on an average residential door then shuts off. I have put three door openers all on same circuit several times - all probably likely code violations of that section, yet never have had a call back or complaint of tripping circuit breakers on those circuits.
